Nicole Fuentes is a New York-based choreographer, movement director, and dancer.

She holds a BFA in Dance from Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts. Since studying ballet and modern techniques throughout her dance training,  she continues to evolve her knowledge of these practices through contemporary, post-modern, and improvisational forms. Her work dissects the nuanced behaviors that unify a society by ways of exploring social structures, identity, and synchronicity. She incorporates sculpture within her set designs—specifically fountains—forming an inherent setting for the body and space to interact.

She has performed works by Amy Gardner, Thang Dao, Dance Lawyer, Muliebris Dance Theatre, amongst others. Her work has presented at Pageant, Otion Front Studio, School for Contemporary Dance and Thought, Alanna Miller Gallery, The Front Festival (Austin, TX), and more. She has done movement direction for Totokaelo X Issey Miyake, Thinx, Joyberry, Haoma, and musician Lola Kirke.
